Steven Beam Top Realtor in Colorado

Top Realtor in Colorado Steven Beam

Earning the right to call myself one of the TOP Realtors in Parker, Colorado was not an easy task. I’ve worked hard to maintain good working relationships with hundreds of previous clients over 14 years of full-time real estate sales.

What to expect when reading this blog:

I know the stats and numbers for local Parker Colorado real estate and neighborhoods. I do post a lot of neighborhood information, stats, trends and market reports. I have to do this. Buyers and sellers, when ready to act, need this information to make responsible decisions and I believe that this should show perspective clients that I do understand and know current market trends.

I will also write about fun things to do not just in this State but also specific neighborhoods or towns. I do have two small kids so you will occasionally be introduced to them from photos I’ve taken.  With kids comes school info postings including Day Care and what I know first hand about local Parker Schools.

Of course I also post listings that I have for sale and the occasional HOT DEAL I spot when out and about showing homes.

  • Real Estate Designations and Affiliations:
  • April 2010 # 7 for the RE/MAX Mountain States. (pretty big deal since this is a five state region and I was number 7 out of thousands of brokers.)
  • 2010, 2011 & 2012 Year-end # 3 Broker for RE/MAX Alliance Parker, Colorado. (Over 60 brokers in my office
  • I’ve been a full-time Realtor for over 10 years. Before kids I was an active member of the local Rotary Club. (I hope to get involved again in the future)
  • Member of CRS or Council of Residential Specialist. (The only designation that really means anything IMHO)
  • GRI designation -Graduate Realtor Institute
  • DERA – Douglas , Elbert Realtor Association
  • NAR – National Association of Realtors
  • CAR – Colorado Association of Realtors

I used to hold a half dozen other designations but found that they were generally a racket in my mind. I took the classes, received the recognition and decided that paying the hundreds of dollars a year to keep 3 more letters by my name was unnecessary. It looked cool to have all those important letters but nobody cared. Clients never asked me about them. I think it impresses other Realtors more than clients so I dropped all the fancy letters.

Why live in Colorado and sell real estate?

Living here is like being on vacation everyday of the year.

There is no place in the world I’d rather live. If anything, there are too many things to do here (I’d hardly call that a problem). No matter the season, there’s something awesome that beckons.

Hiking, swimming, tubing, biking, whitewater rafting, skiing, snowboarding, or just staring in awe at Nature’s majesty (there’s plenty of that here) … I could go on and on about this place, but I’d probably get called for a “delay of game” penalty.

In short, Colorado is awesome.

It reminds me a lot of the area I grew up in. Just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina, there’s a great lake where I used to go water skiing, ride my dirt bike, and do all the things that little boys love.

Here in Colorado, I’ve found all of that and more with my own family.

Parker, where I’ve made my home with my wife and kids (with them and all of the outdoor fun, I’ve got some great stories to share), is the best of all possible worlds. It’s close to downtown Denver, so it’s easy to get to the hustle and bustle of the city (if you’re into that), but it’s also easy to avoid it (if you’re into that). There’s a ton to do–whether you’re a kid or a parent or just someone who likes wide open spaces–and it’s easy to get to the places where there’s even more to do.

I’ve rarely met anyone who came to Colorado who didn’t instantly fall in love with it. It’s that kind of place.

I love working with people and watching that love affair start in their eyes. Even better than that is helping them find their little slice of heaven on earth.

Now that Colorado–and Denver in particular–is going through a bit of a renaissance, from its award-winning libraries, museums, high-tech centers, and huge strides in public transportation, more and more people are seeing that if there is a Heaven on Earth, this could well be it.

Let’s talk about finding your perfect piece of Colorado.

Comments:

I welcome your comments to any article posted within this blog. I use some of the top spam filters so if you are trolling for link bait I will catch you and delete the comment. All normal comments are welcome and YES I do allow and even appreciate dissenting comments that do not fall in line with my point of view.

What do I do for FUN!:

For fun I will consider anything outside before looking for an indoor option. As a family we snow ski, snowshoe, hike and mountain bike. On my own I ride a KTM dirt bike and love fly fishing. I’m even lucky enough to have a few great spots to enjoy hunting but not as often as I wish.

I will post my office location below however please understand I work basically out of my car and WiFi spots around town. If you drive to my office to find me chances are I will not be there. I find it very unproductive to try and work in the highly social and unproductive atmosphere of a real estate office.
